More Apache Vip units are part of the transport fleet for students of Rio de Janeiro`s public education network.

2022-11-04 Caio supplied customer Transriver Transportes with two more units of bus Apache Vip Generation five, mid-bus version. The units complement the company`s fleet which, in May 2022, had already acquired 14 brand new units to operate on the project`s lines.
Students from the municipal education network served by project “Liberty Bus” have access to free transport, especially in areas where there is no public transport. The buses are also equipped to transport people with disabilities.

About Apache VIP

The units follow the “Liberty Bus” pattern with a paint plan that identifies the project, seat belts in all seats, space reserved for wheelchair users and an elevator. The Apache Vip are 11,360 meters long, have two doors with front access and space for 41 people sitting.

In the internal hall, air conditioning and glass with barriers to the solar effects guarantee thermal comfort. To provide better journey visibility, electronic itineraries in LED were installed at different points on the bodywork.

To speed up student boarding, all units have electronic validators. The Apache Vip also leave the factory prepared for future micro cameras installation and a radio system.
